Kamala Harris’ team has intensified their efforts following President Joe Biden's endorsement earlier today, aiming to secure a significant number of endorsements and delegate support, as reported by two Democratic allies of the vice president.
The team has implemented a robust whip operation to garner support from convention delegates. During these outreach efforts, it has been observed that there is minimal indication of any other Democrat considering a potential run for the nomination.
Sources reveal that the primary objective is to demonstrate that the nomination process is essentially concluded, leading to a proposed August 1 roll call by the DNC. However, they acknowledge the possibility of a date change should a viable alternative candidate emerge.

In a separate development, Biden personally contacted certain Democrats over the weekend who had appeared on television in support of him. According to sources, he expressed gratitude but also conveyed his frustration towards individuals attempting to undermine his position.
One of Biden's loyalists shared that while there was a sense of disappointment in his tone, it was predominantly overshadowed by his evident displeasure.
