'Big call from Bielsa' Leeds United fans react as starting XI to face Brentford is confirmed

Leeds United fans have reacted to Marcelo Bielsa's confirmed starting XI to face Brentford, after the Whites coach made a single change as he looks to revitalise the club's waning promotion hopes.

Kalvin Phillips has been recalled to the starting line-up with supporters querying Bielsa's decision to keep the faith with certain players who have draw criticism during the club's recent poor run.

Phillips comes straight back into Marcelo Bielsa's side after completing his three-match ban as the Whites look to for a much-needed win.

Saturday's defeat at Nottingham Forest was a fourth in five matches and saw the gap to third place, which was once 11 points cut down to just goal difference.

Leeds face another promotion rival this evening and Phillips is the only change to Bielsa's side as he replaces Gjanni Alioski.

Under-pressure goalkeeper Kiko Casilla continues at the back, with a back-four of Luke Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas.

Phillips will operate in his usual position in front of the defence, with Mateusz Klich and Pablo Hernandez in front. Jack Harrison and Helder Costa will provide the width and Patrick Bamford leads the line.

January signing Jean-Kevin Augustin and is on the bench, with injured Tyler Roberts dropping out of the matchday squad after taking a knock against Forest. Barry Douglas also returns to the bench.

Leeds United: Casilla, Ayling, White, Cooper, Dallas, Phillips, Klich, Harrison, Costa, Hernandez, Bamford

Subs: Meslier, Douglas, Alioski, Berardi, Stevens, Shackleton, Augustin

Here is how fans have reacted:

A win tonight will see Leeds maintain their place in the top two, but a victory for Brentford would see the Bees overtake Bielsa's men.
