Kalvin Phillips recalled as Mateusz Bogusz makes Leeds United's bench for Aston Villa clash

Marcelo Bielsa has made two change to his Leeds United starting XI to face Aston Villa, as Stuart Dallas comes in for the injured Gjanni Alioski and Kalvin Phillips replaces Tyler Roberts.

Leeds host the Villans knowing that their automatic promotion hopes are over following Sheffield United and Norwich City's victories last night, with a third-place finish the immediate target now.

With Alioski undergoing season-ending surgery earlier this week, Dallas will slot in at right-back, while Phillips will return to midfield.

Robert is on the bench, while Kemar Roofe is injury absentee

Kiko Casilla will continue in goal in front of a back-four of Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper, Pontus Jansson and Dallas, while Phillips operate in front of them in midfield.

Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich complete the central midfield trio, while Jack Harrison and Pablo Hernandez are on the flanks. Patrick Bamford will again lead the line.

Under-23s standout Matuesz Bogusz is on the bench for the first-time following his fine form for Carlos Corberan, while Izzy Brown also returns to the matchday squad.

A win for the Whites today will mean they are assured of third place in the table, but Marcelo Bielsa's men face a tough task against Dean Smith's in-form side who arrive in West Yorkshire on the back of a ten-match winning streak.

Leeds United: Casilla, Dallas, Cooper, Jansson, Ayling, Phillips, Klich, Forshaw, Harrison, Hernandez, Bamford

Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Roberts, Berardi, Brown, Shackleton, Clarke, Bogusz
