Kalidou Koulibaly boost for Manchester United as Carlo Ancelotti makes huge admission

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he won't prevent in-demand Kalidou Koulibaly leaving the club this summer.

The centre-back has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to revamp his backline.

Ancelotti has applied the same sentiment to forward Lorenzo Insigne after reports credited Liverpool with an interest.

The veteran Italian boss insists he won't stand in the pair's way if they want to seek a new challenge, reports The Mirror.

The former Chelsea and AC Milan boss said: “We don't need to sell our best players. We can sign new players following our ideas.

“However, I am not going to block who wants to leave, I've never done it in my career.”

Ancelotti was also asked about his own future, following reports linking him with a return to Chelsea.

But he is in no rush to manage in the Premier League again, and would rather continue with the project ahead of him at Napoli.

He added: “I am happy in Naples, nothing has changed.

“I want to continue what I've begun, there are all the conditions to be motivated, the rest is just talking.”
