Firefighters evacuated a Kaleen apartment building overnight as they extinguished a blaze in one of the units.
Emergency services were called to Baldwin Drive just after 10pm Sunday and contained the fire within an hour.
In a statement, the Emergency Services Agency said the cause of the fire was accidental.
"Several patients were assessed at the scene and no transport to hospital was required," it said.
Several pets were retrieved from affected apartments and Fire and Rescue completed air monitoring in nearby unit blocks.
Emergency services left the scene just after 1am.
