Kaleb Wesson makes himself eligible for NBA Draft, could still come back to OSU

Ohio State big man Kaleb Wesson has made himself eligible for the NBA according to comments made by head coach Chris Hotlmann Wednesday.

Now, before anyone gets their scarlet and gray undies in a bunch, players can submit their name for eligibility and even hire an agent under new NCAA rules, and still decide to come back to school after receiving feedback.

Wesson lead Ohio State in scoring and rebounding this year but struggled with discipline and conditioning at times. He did however make the expected leap from year one to year two, and now he’s a least somewhat interested in taking a peek at the next level.

It’s hard to imagine Wesson getting the type of feedback that would make him decide to leave Ohio State, but we’ve seen funnier things happen in the past.

My guess is that he’ll get feedback on areas to work on before he’s NBA ready, he’ll take it to heart and be in a Buckeye uniform next year. As there’s more to this story, we’ll have it.
