Kaitlynn Carter has reunited with her ex husband Brody Jenner after enjoying a brief fling with Miley Cyrus following their split last summer.
But the reality TV stars, who were together from 2014 to 2019, appeared to be just friends after she posted about him being single on Instagram on Friday.
Taking to her stories, blonde bombshell Kaitlynn, 31, shared a black and white video of Brody, 36, and jokingly captioned it "single and chic".
To make the situation even more bizarre, Kaitlynn had also spent the day with Brody's mum Linda Thompson, 69, and her close friend Alexandra Amodio.
She shared a picture of the trio looking happy as they enjoyed lunch together.
Kaitlynn captioned the post: "Feelin' super lucky to be part of this modern fam."
Miley and Kaitlynn stunned fans back in August when they spotted kissing on a girls' holiday just days after their respective marriages ended.
The Climb singer had just called time on her seven month marriage to Liam Hemsworth, while Kaitlynn split with her beau Brody in August, although they were never legally wed.
But after an eventful few weeks together, Miley called things off with Kaitlynn because she didn't want a serious relationship, it was claimed.
Miley is now in a relationship with Cody Simpson.
After they split Kaitlynn said she'd fallen in love with Miley and it was "much more than a fling".
She explained that they had been friends for three years and she'd never been attracted to another woman before unexpectedly falling for Miley.
In an essay written for Elle.com , Kaitlynn said: "As my friend and I spent that August traveling through Europe together and trying to move past our respective break-ups, my first and only romance with a woman was born."
