Liverpool fans have reacted with disappointment on social media to the announcement that highly rated Mateusz Musialowski has not made the squad for the Shrewsbury Town clash.
The promising polish youngster has 19 goals in 43 appearances for the under 18s and Under 23s but is yet to make his first team debut.
Many fans have taken to social media to express their dismay that the exciting prospect doesn't start despite the Reds' suffering from a host of missing personnel due to positive Covid tests.

"Kaide Gordon starts. I’ll take that," was one comment.

Liverpool go into today's tie with four teenagers starting as well as featuring squad debuts for youngsters Melkamu Frauendorf and Isaac Mabaya.
