Chelsea's interest in Kai Havertz appears to have ramped up in the last week or so, following on from the news that Frank Lampard's side are set to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
Roman Abramovich appears set to bankroll a spending spree for Chelsea despite the financial uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 outbreak and Havertz is a top target.
There have been reports in Havertz's homeland today that, in addition to Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and even Newcastle United are in the race to sign him.
