Kai Havertz to Chelsea? 'Agent' Antonio Rudiger 'at it again' after Timo Werner transfer role

Chelsea fans are hailing "Agent Antonio Rudiger" after the defender wished "transfer target" Kai Havertz a happy birthday.

Frank Lampard has not been deterred by the financial impact of the coronavirus, with the club ready to spend £53million on Timo Werner having already dropped £33m on Hakim Ziyech in February.

Leicester City's full-back Ben Chilwell is understood to be next on Chelsea's wishlist, though reports on Thursday suggest the Foxes will want over £70m.

After bagging one of Europe's most sought-after talents in Werner, Lampard is said to have also set to his sights on Bayer Leverkusen star Havertz.

Chelsea fans, looking for any hint of progress on a possible deal, have jumped on Rudiger's happy birthday tweet to Havertz, dubbing him "Agent Rudiger".

Rudiger was last week praised by Chelsea fans for similar "agent" activity after 'liking' a mocked-up image on Instagram of Werner in a Chelsea kit.

Rudiger and Havertz play alongside each other for the Germany national team.
