Kai Havertz ‘sold on Chelsea vision’ after talks with Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger

Kai Havertz has been sold on Chelsea's vision under Frank Lampard by Antonio Rudiger and new signing Timo Werner, according to reports.

Havertz last week met with Bayer Leverkusen to thrash out his future. It is understood he indicated a desire to move to Chelsea during talks with the club hierarchy.

The Blues are pressing ahead with their pursuit of Havertz after they secured Champions League football for next season, and the playing staff are reportedly helping push the deal through too.

Football London claim Germany internationals Rudiger and Werner have encouraged the 21-year-old to move to the Premier League.

Havertz has been convinced to make the move and it is thought to be only a matter of time before Chelsea seal their third signing of the summer.

Ben Chilwell and a new goalkeeper are also high on Frank Lampard's list of summer targets. Lampard has stepped up his search for a new first-choice shot-stopper after running out of patience with Kepa, who was dropped for the crunch meeting with Wolves on the final day of the Premier League season.

Chelsea have identified Ajax’s Andre Onana and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak as possible targets and it is hard to see a way back for Kepa after his snub
