Kai Havertz makes transfer admission amid Manchester United and Liverpool FC links

Bayer Leverkusen and Germany ace Kai Havertz has admitted he will speak to national boss Joachim Low for advice on a transfer, amid growing interest in his services.

Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been attributed with interest in the 20-year-old, who starred for Germany in their recent draw with Argentina.

The attacking midfielder netted 20 goals across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season and is seen as one of the next big things on the continent, leading to rising interest in his signature.

While luring the youngster to Old Trafford will not be an easy task, United and other interested parties have been given a boost as he admitted he will speak to Low for advice.

“I listen to many people but in the end it will be my decision. I will embrace any advice Low will give me because he has a lot experience – it wouldn’t be smart to not listen to him," he said at a press conference ahead of tomorrow night's (Sunday) Euro 2020 qualifier with Estonia.

However, Low stated in a separate interview that his current surroundings at Leverkusen are ideal for his development, suggesting he feels a transfer is not the right call at this time.

“I’ll talk to him on occasion, but not now and not this year. He’s supposed to be playing in Leverkusen, where he plays regularly, that’s the biggest advantage for a young player like that," the Germany boss told Sport1 .

“He made a clear decision for himself and with those around him to stay in Leverkusen. I don’t know what will happen next year, but he certainly has many opportunities.

“I already trust him to have a very good career, absolutely. But he has already started.”
