Kai Havertz has dropped a hint that he is interested in signing for Chelsea this summer.
While, Chelsea fans' excitement might have reached some heady heights following the signing of Timo Werner, it seems that Havertz may be on a mission to keep the Blues supporters hopeful of a third summer transfer.
Reports have suggested that the Chelsea would have to pay around £75m to land the 21-year-old and also that the forward could be interested in moving away from Bayer Leverkusen but that the likes of Manchester United were in contention.
The attacker has already notched 16 goals and made nine assists in 40 appears this season.
However, Havertz appears to have made clear that he would be interested in a move to Stamford Bridge by liking a tweet that said: "announce Havertz".
Fans have certainly enjoyed his response:
Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro has already noted that the club may have to respect Havertz wishes to leave despite the length of his contract.
"Many clubs are interested in him," he told German paper Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
"I see the player’s wish to take the next step sometime in the near future.
"You have to respect that as much as the fact that he has a contract in until 2022."
