Today, July 27, marks the official opening of the summer transfer window.
However, that hasn't made much difference to Chelsea as they have already made major strides in the market to strengthen for the 2020/21 campaign.
The Blues have already brought in Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, who have arrived in London and are ready to make their mark for the club.
Frank Lampard hinted after the win over Wolves that Champions League qualification means the Blues may have more freedom to spend.
But what is next for Marina Granovskaia, Petr Cech, Lampard and the Blues to target in the window?
Kai Havertz
This is now becoming the most likely big-money signing for the Blues in the next few days, with the Germany international keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.
Personal terms do not seem to be an issue, but the negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen could be the concern with the price.
The German side want around the €80million mark, however Chelsea will be hoping to get to that number with add-ons, rather than a straight fee.
It's the priority for the Blues right now, and the deal is edging ever closer.
Andre Onana/Jan Oblak
The goalkeeper situation has sprung back to the forefront of Chelsea's minds with Kepa Arrizabalaga dropped from the crunch Premier League game with Wolves.
Getting rid of Kepa may be difficult in the current market, with a loan the most likely solution to free up space.
As for a replacement, Andre Onana and Jan Oblak are being looked at, with the former more likely to be the easier to get.
But it is now something the Blues are looking at to sort out the issue.
Ben Chilwell
The Ben Chilwell trail has gone a little quiet as the price for the left-back might be too large and Leicester City will dig in their heels to keep him.
However, the Blues are certainly still interested in a move for him, but it might be tough for them to seal a transfer for him.
Instead, Nicolas Tagliafico could be on the list to sort one of the issues for the Blues this season.
