Detectives investigating the murder of a man who was stabbed in the chest in Kingston have made a further two arrests.

Kai Davis, 22, died in hospital after being attacked in Clarence Street at about 3.45am on August 21.

Two men, both aged 22, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday and remain in custody.

It follows a 19-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of murder last month and bailed.

An 18-year-old was also arrested in connection with the attack and released with no further action.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information about the assault.

DCI Kate Kieran, who is leading the investigation, said:“A dedicated team of detectives is working on this investigation. We remain committed to bringing justice to Kai’s family.

“I can’t imagine how difficult this time must be for them and I thank them for their continued support as we progress all lines of enquiry.

“The Met is committed to tackling violence across London, but we cannot do it alone. I continue to appeal for information.

“There were a large number of people present when this happened and I urge those people to come forward. You may be able to help us significantly in our investigation.”
