Kabuki legend stages performances at UNESCO site

Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizo, 40, performs in "Jayanagi" (Snake willow) at the Munakata Grand Shrine's Hetsumiya shrine in Munakata, Fukuoka Prefecture, on Monday. The kabuki display, which attracted about 3,000 people, was part of an event commemorating the first anniversary of the shrine's designation as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in July last year.
