Kabir Khan hints at collaboration with Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan and Salman Khan; director 'constantly discussing ideas'

A year after treating fans to Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead, director Kabir Khan is now getting ready to move on to his next film, this time, with BFF Vicky Kaushal.

Speculation was rife about Khan’s next directorial venture, with reports hinting that he may be working on Babbar Sher with Salman Khan. However, the director in his latest interview, rubbished the reports and hinted at talks with Vicky for a new project, his first with the actor.

Speaking to News18, the director addressed the rumours with a laugh, admitting that Vicky is one of the finest actors in the business and that he is "extremely close" to both Vicky and Katrina. "I would love to work with him,” Kabir shared and added that as a director, he is constantly in touch with actors to discuss ideas. "There’s nothing concrete right now, but yes, I’ve been speaking to him," he said.

Beyond Vicky, Kabir also revealed that he has been in discussions with Salman Khan and Kartik Aaryan for potential projects. “I’ve been speaking to Salman as well. Anytime I meet actors, we brainstorm ideas. I do the same with Kartik too,” he added.

While he was at it, the director also revealed that he had two or three ideas that he was most excited about.

While no official announcements have been made, fans can hope for a collab with Vicky soon. The actor has a bunch of interesting films on the cards, including 'Love and War' with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He also has 'Mahavatar: An Epic Saga' in the pipeline.
