K-Pop singer Eric Nam 'butchers' Scottish accent at Glasgow show

A popular K-pop singer was performing to a buzzing Barrowlands crowd in Glasgow on Sunday night when he attempted to speak with a Scottish accent, much to his fans' delight!

The American singer, of Korean descent, was in Glasgow on Sunday evening performing on his 2022 World Tour, where he got a taste of the local culture.

Speaking to the Glasgow crowd, Eric said: "I'm really bad at this guys, this is why I've never tried to do it [the Scottish accent]."

As he bent down to chat with a fan in the front row, the fan yelled into the mic: "Ladies and gentlemen!", in the most Scottish accent possible.

Eric burst out laughing as the crowd roared in approval, and said: "Do you have any tips for me?"

The fan screamed back: "What's happening!", and he doubled over in laughter once again.

Eventually, the crowd got Eric to cave, and he exclaimed: "Hawl, everybody!", and the fans went wild for his hilarious attempt at the accent.

Plenty of the Twitter users got in on the act, as one of the attendees wrote: "NAH THATS ME AND MY PALS!"
