A hot girl group and a rookie boy band from South Korea will take Bangkok by storm with their debut concerts next month.

The quartet Black Pink has chosen to kick off their "Black Pink 2019 World Tour [In Your Area]" in the City of Angels, with three shows scheduled for Jan 11 at 8pm and Jan 12 and 13 at 6pm at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani.

A collaboration between Thailand's Four One One Entertainment and South Korea's YG Entertainment, this is the first chance for local members of Blink, an official fandom name for the quartet, to sing and dance along with the gorgeous girls -- Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé.

Formed two years ago, Black Pink is the first and only K-pop girl group to enter and top Billboard's Emerging Artists chart and also the first female K-pop group to have four No.1 singles on Billboards' World Digital Song Sales chart.

Then, Stray Kids -- whose nine members came from the eponymous reality show from last year -- will be flown in to give the "Stray Kids Unveil Tour 'I am …' in Bangkok" at the Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Jan 19 at 6pm.

Presented by Four One One Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, this is also the first chance for local audiences to witness the talent of the rookie group believed to be new power players in the K-pop scene.

Stray Kids released their album Mixtape in January and it peaked at No.2 on the World Albums chart, ushering them to the top among the five K-pop groups to watch in 2018 by Billboard. Two months later they released their first official album I Am Not along with the music video of its title track District 9 that garnered over 13 million views on YouTube a week after its release. The group comprises Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.

Tickets for Black Pink's concert on Jan 12 and 13 were already sold out but tickets for their additional show on Jan 11 start from 1,900 to 7,500 baht and will be available for public sale at all Thai Ticket Major outlets and via thaiticketmajor.com tomorrow from 10am.

Tickets for Stray Kids' concert cost 2,800, 3,800, 4,800 and 5,500 baht and will be available from the same channels on Saturday from 10am.
