The Land of Smiles has always welcomed K-pop groups. On April 27, Thai fans will once again meet with the six-member boy band Astro in a concert titled "Astro The 2nd Astroad To Bangkok [Starlight]" at the BCC Hall of Central Lardprao, Phahon Yothin Road. The concert starts at 6 pm.
Astro rose to prominence with its debut single Hide & Seek from the album Spring Up in 2016. Their lively synth-pop songs made the sextet shine and they were selected by Billboard as one of best new K-pop groups at that time.
This year, the K-pop sensation returns with the album All Light, which features the chart topping dance track All Night. To promote this album, the band has toured in Asia, including Taipei and Hong Kong, as well as four cities in the US: New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and San Francisco.
Their performances over there received fantastic feedback and put them at No.7 on Billboard's 50 Social, which is a chart of the most active music performers on social networking. A collaboration between Thailand's Achi Activation and South Korea's Fantagio Music, the upcoming show in Bangkok will conclude the band's "The 2nd Astroad Tour". Prepare to sing along with songs from the latest album, such as Love Wheel and Moonwalk and other favourites, including Always You and Crazy Sexy Cool.
Tickets cost 2,900, 4,900 and 5,900 baht, and are available from http://ticket.achi.co.th.
