K District gardai have made another big drugs bust in north Dublin just days after it was revealed that fed-up locals thwarted a dealer by tipping off detectives.
A man was arrested and €3,000 worth of cannabis seized after gardai from the K District Community Action team raided raided an address in Finglas on Friday.
Gardai said today: "On the 8th May 2020 Gardaí from the K District Community Action team carried out a search at an address in the Fairlawn area of Finglas.
"Herbal cannabis valued at €3,000 was recovered and one male arrested for possession of drugs for sale or supply. Later charged and released on bail."
The latest seizure comes just days after K District gardai recovered more than €6,000 worth of cannabis in Dublin 15 when frustrated residents who suspected a man of blatant drug dealing tipped them off.
