Juventus told to sell two players to fund Paul Pogba Manchester United transfer

Juventus great Alessio Tacchinardi has told the Italian side to sell Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey to fund a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The France World Cup winner has been linked with a return to Turin since leaving to join United, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also said to be keen on his services.

United would certainly command a hefty asking price for Pogba if he did leave Old Trafford and the Juventus great has informed the club which two players in particular they should offload.

“In order to get Pogba back, I would let Rabiot and Ramsey go, even if the Welshman did show a few signs of life in the last few games," he told TuttoSport.

Ramsey and Rabiot both joined Juventus last summer on a free transfer after their deals with PSG and Arsenal respectively expired, with the Serie A side continuing their history of snapping up free agents.

However, Rabiot and Ramsey have both struggled to establish themselves as regular starters in Maurizio Sarri's side, leading to suggestions they could leave in the next transfer window.

Sarri has preferred to utilise Blaise Matuidi, Miralem Pjanic and Rodrigo Bentancur in the heart of midfield this season, although it is reported that Pjanic could be on his way out.
