Juventus 'target Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino' to replace Max Allegri

Juventus have reportedly made Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino one of their prime candidates to succeed Max Allegri.

Allegri left the Bianconeri on Friday having won five successive Serie A titles in Turin.

He has been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain job should Thomas Tuchel leave the French giants at the end of the season - but the question now turns to who will fill the vacant hotseat at Juve.

And, according to the Express, Pochettino is among the names in the frame having hinted he could leave Spurs if they beat Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is top of the Old Lady's list having won three titles with Juve between 2011 and 2014.

But his relationship with chairman Andrea Agnelli is still strained and Conte is rumoured to have a verbal agreement in place with Inter Milan.

Conte has not managed since leaving Chelsea last summer and has still not finalised the terms of his compensation from Stamford Bridge.

Current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is also in the frame for Juve, with his future in west London far form certain despite a third-placed finish and a place in the Europa League final against Arsenal .

Pochettino has previously been linked with the Manchester United and Real Madrid jobs but has, so far, remained loyal to Tottenham .
