Juventus star Adrien Rabiot makes transfer declaration amid Manchester United speculation

Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has committed his future to Juventus amid speculation linking him with a transfer to Manchester United and Everton.

After refusing to sign a new contract at Paris-Saint Germain, the Frenchman opted to leave the club on a free transfer this summer and MEN Sport understand he was briefly on United 's radar before he confirmed his move to Juventus on July 1.

The 24-year-old has struggled to cement a regular starting berth under Maurizio Sarri leading to speculation that he could move to the Premier League during the January transfer window.

Reports suggested United could reignite their interest in the midfielder but the MEN understand United remain focused on their priority transfer targets James Maddison and Jadon Sancho .

Rabiot was also linked with a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton but has now confirmed he will stay at Juve.

"Yes, I will stay with Juventus for sure. There is no problem," he told reporters after the game against Cagliari.

"I feel the confidence of the club and of coach Sarri. 2019 was not easy for me, I came to Juve after a long time without playing.

"I'm looking to adapt to a new league, a new environment and a new coach. I hope 2020 will be better for me and be able to help Juventus by exploiting my full potential."
