Juventus reveal Aaron Ramsey price as Arsenal linked with summer transfer reunion

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly available for just €10m (£8.5m) this summer amid rumours linking him with a return to the Emirates Stadium.

The Welshman only departed north London in 2019, joining the Serie A giants on a free transfer after his Arsenal contract expired.

He has found opportunities tough in Italy though having made just 65 appearances in all competitions over the past two seasons - only 33 of those being starts.

That has led to speculation that Ramsey could leave the Juventus Stadium this summer, with some reports suggesting that he could be set for a return to Arsenal.

football.london understands a deal would be highly unlikely at this stage and the Welshman’s agent has even refuted suggestions that a reunion could be close.

Replying to a tweet suggesting Ramsey could be Arsenal bound, he said: "I'm sorry but can you stop making things up please. There is not a shred of truth in your tweet.”

Despite the chances of a deal looking remote, Juventus have now revealed how much it would take for a club to take the former Gunner off of their hands.

As per TuttoMercatoWeb, Juve are willing to accept just €10m (£8.5m) this summer in an effort to get him off of the books and are actively searching for an acceptable proposal.

As it stands however, no such deal has been forthcoming with Juventus having not yet received an offer from any club due to the Welshman’s high wages in Italy.

It remains to be seen whether the relative affordability or indeed Ramsey’s current availability could potentially change the minds of either Edu or Mikel Arteta in relation to any deal. A return would certainly be a popular one though with Ramsey having established himself as a key player at the Emirates Stadium ahead of his eventual departure.

He went on to make a total of 371 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 65 goals in the process and playing a key part in three separate FA Cup successes.

Ramsey still has two years left to run on his current contract with Juventus.
