Juventus are said to be hopeful sealing transfers for two Chelsea players this summer, and believe they have an edge over the competition.
This summer will be an interesting one for the transfer market, with plenty of clubs searching for the best value options following a year of uncertainty and financial loss for clubs worldwide.
Juventus have reportedly already drawn up their list of targets to bring in for next season, and two Chelsea players are on the list.
The Serie A side have been long-known admirers of Emerson Palmieri, and Tuttosport (via Sport Witness) state that this could be the year that he finally makes the move to Turin.
According to the report, Juventus will also be targeting midfielder Jorginho. It would not be the first time they attempted to bring him in either: Maurizio Sarri brought the 29-year-old to Stamford Bridge from Napoli, and wanted to take him to Turin after his own exit from Chelsea.
A move for Jorginho is said to be more fanciful than one for Emerson, whom Juve believe they have a more realistic chance of signing this summer.
And key to that will apparently be their "excellent" relationship with Blues' director Marina Granovskaia.
Juve are said to believe they will have the edge on the competition in a move for either of the players because of their previous experience with the Chelsea transfer chief.
However, Jorginho's agent recently stated that the midfielder would probably not be joining Juventus.
According to his representative, Jorginho does not have the right attributes to fit into Juve's style under Andrea Pirlo.
