Juventus offer three players in Paul Pogba swap deal and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Juventus will offer three players to Manchester United in a bid to secure the services of Paul Pogba in the upcoming transfer window, according to reports.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to the Italian champions after failing to secure an exit from United last summer.

MEN Sport reported in February that the Frenchman has told his United teammates he still wants to leave the club. Pogba's contract is set to expire in 2021 though United have the option to extend it for a further year.

The MEN understands United are relaxed about Pogba's situation at the club despite having yet to trigger that one-year extension.

Real Madrid and Juventus are among Pogba's admirers and Sky Sports claim Pogba would be happy to return to Italy but the move will only be possible if United are willing broker a swap deal with the Old Lady. A straight cash deal is said to be out of the question due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

The report adds that Maurizio Sarri's side would be willing to trade Douglas Costa, Alex Sandro and Federico Bernardeschi, but none are understood to be priority targets for United.

United were interested in defender Matthijs de Ligt prior to his move to the Serie A summer but Juventus are unwilling to part ways with the Dutchman.

Elsewhere, reports in Italy suggest United are pursuing a deal for Napoli attacker Hirving Lozano.

The Mexico international moved to Naples last summer after gaining a reputation as one of the most prolific wingers in the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven.

Lozano has struggled to impress in his first season with his new employers, scoring only two league goals, and Corriere dello Sport believe United are preparing to offer him an escape route to the Premier League.

Napoli are reportedly open to the sale and would demand a fee in the region of £38.5million.

United want to improve their forward line in the upcoming window but are prioritising a move for Borussia Dortmund superstar Jadon Sancho.
