Juventus 'making moves' to sign three Manchester United players and more transfer gossip

Juventus have started making 'moves' to sign three Manchester United players when their contracts expire next summer, according to reports.

The Serie A champions have gained a reputation in recent years of always being on the ball and signing the best players on frees as they allow their contracts to run down at their clubs.

Since 2011 Juventus have signed Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Kingsley Coman, Fernando Llorente, Sami Khedira, Emre Can, Dani Alves, Gianluigi Buffon, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey without spending a penny.

Now the Old Lady are reporting setting their eyes on next summer's free transfers and are looking at United.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, via SportWitness, Juventus are looking at David De Gea, Nemanja Matic and Eric Bailly, who are all out of contract in the summer.

Goalkeeper De Gea had agreed a new six-year contract said to be worth more than £110million to stay at Old Trafford, but it is yet to be rubber stamped.

However, there has of yet been no word on whether Bailly and Matic will be offered new deals.

The report claims that the United players are "at first sight, they are almost all unreachable, but the moves and counter-moves have just started”.

Meanwhile, heavily rumoured United target Bruno Fernandes is set to sign a new contract at Sporting, according to reports.

Fernandes was heavily moved with a transfer all summer, with United, Tottenham and Real Madrid, touted as possible destinations for the midfielder who bagged 32 goals last campaign.

A move never materialised, however, and according to Record, cited by SportWitness, an 'agreement between Sporting and Bruno Fernandes' agent' will see a clause that would have seen the Portuguese international earn €5m cancelled.

Instead Fernandes' salary will reportedly rise 'from €2m gross to €5m'. But 'despite the renewal he is 'still expected to leave Sporting and agent Jorge Mendes continues to work it.'
