Juventus goalkeeper 'set' for loan move to Kilmarnock to link back up with Angelo Alessio

Kilmarnock are getting set to sign a goalkeeper from Juventus, according to Italian reports.

Laurentiu Branescu, from Romania, will link back up with Angelo Alessio on loan according to an Italian journalist.

Italian sports journalist Giovanni Albanese, who mainly covers Juventus, has said that he expects the deal to go through imminently.

He said: "Goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu, owned by Juventus is to be loaned to Scotland to the new coach at Kilmarnock Angelo Alessio.

"Operation already set."

Branescu has been at the Old Lady since 2012, as he was signed by Alessio and Antonio Conte.

He has yet to feature for the first-team, and he has been loaned out to clubs such as Zalgiris, HNK Gorica and Dinamo Bucharest, who Kilmarnock will face tonight in a pre-season friendly.
