Juventus 'accept £62m Paulo Dybala transfer bid from Tottenham' despite Man Utd U-turn

Tottenham have had a £62million transfer bid accepted for Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

The Juventus striker looks set to leave the Turin-based club this summer and is being monitored by both Spurs and Manchester United.

The Red Devils were ready to sign the forward as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, with the Belgium international heading in the opposite direction.

But Dybala rejected Manchester United's offer and the deal broke down.

The Argentina international is now willing to lower his wage demands and complete a transfer to Manchester United.

It is believed that Dybala is now very much aware that he has no future in Turin, and is therefore entertaining the idea of a move to the Premier League.

But Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is only looking to sign players who are 100 per cent committed to the United cause, and has gone off the idea of landing Dybala.

Sky Sports Italia is now reporting that Tottenham have had a big-money bid to sign Dybala from under the noses of United accepted.

The report comes amid claims Spurs are also monitoring Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian is available to take on loan, but presumably Tottenham will only be looking to sign either Coutinho or Dybala.

Christian Eriksen meanwhile could leave north London and move to Manchester United.
