Jusuf Nurkic throws shade at Westbrook on Twitter after Game 4 win

Jusuf Nurkic is out for the rest of the season but the Trail Blazers center stole some headlines after his team defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 on Sunday.

Nurkic sustained compound fractures to his left tibia and fibula on March 25 against the Brooklyn Nets. He is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery to repair the injury.

With Nurkic out of the lineup, the Trail Blazers took a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Thunder on Sunday but that didn’t stop the big man from throwing some shade at Russell Westbrook.

Nurkic infamously tweeted to Westbrook early in the season and has referred to him as “Westbrick” on a few occasions. In his tweet late Sunday night, Nurkic included a brick emoji and Westbrook’s “Next Question” answer.

Westbrook managed just one point in the second half on Sunday and missed all seven of his field-goal attempts to finish with 14 points in the contest. According to ESPN Stats & Info, his 0-of-7 performance in the second half was the worst half shooting in his playoff career.

The two teams have had their fair share of battles throughout the year and that has continued in the postseason. Although the Thunder swept the season series 4-0 over the Trail Blazers, it is Portland that appears to be on the verge of moving on to the next round.

Nurkic may have more shade ready to go in his drafts folder if that happens …
