Justin Trudeau’s son Xavier delivers halftime performance at basketball game

Justin Trudeau’s son, Xavier Trudeau, delivered the halftime performance during the home opener between the Ottawa BlackJacks and the Calgary Surge in the Canadian Elite Basketball League on 12 May.

“The vibes were immaculate,” the CEBL wrote in the post along with the montage of the 18-year-old performing.

Ahead of the game, Justin teased his son’s performance, promoting his halftime show, saying he was a “proud dad at soundcheck.”

The 18-year-old launched his music career under the name Xav and released his debut single, “Til The Nights Done,” in February 2025. He then released two other songs last year, “Everything I Know” and “Back Me Up.”
