Justin Timberlake and rarely seen son Silas have a blast with lightsabers at Disney World

Justin Timberlake and his excited son Silas looked every inch the fearsome Jedis as they had a father-and-son day at Disney World.

The singing star treated the six-old-old to a dream trip to the Florida resort, and they wasted no time as they headed straight for the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attraction.

Justin, who shares Silas with wife Jessica Biel, even got his hands on some lightsabers so his boy could get the full experience.

The 40-year-old posted rare photos of the couple’s eldest child on Instagram and they were clearly having a ball.

"I don’t know who was freaking out more... me or my six year old," Justin captioned the post.

"This was the coolest. Big thank you to @waltdisneyworld for an amazing trip."

He then uploaded a video of them crossing swords, flashing the show's bright iconic weapons as Silas smiled with his dad.

Justin looked casual in a t-shirt, cap and red shorts and his post was liked nearly 250,000 times.

Earlier this year, Justin announced the birth of the couple's second son, Phineas, during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The star told her: "He's awesome and so cute. Nobody's sleeping.

"But we're thrilled. We're thrilled and couldn't be happier. Very grateful."

He revealed that they kept their pregnancy 'secret' apart from immediate family – though he admitted that Ellen was one of the few that knew about it.

Ellen said to the new father: "I think we were FaceTiming and you said, 'Hey, you want to know a secret?' and then Jessica walked in and you put your hand on her stomach. You were like, 'I'm having another baby!'"

She asked Justin what it was like being a parent to two children compared to when having just one.

The singer joked: "We don't see each other anymore.

"It's a lot of fun. I guess the saying goes go from a zone defence to a man-to-man really quickly. It's great. Silas is super excited."
