The devastated family of tragic schoolboy Justin McLaughlin has erected a memorial banner for their 'precious blue-eyed boy'.
The teenager's heartbroken mum, Stephanie McLaughlin, shared an image of the memorial while issuing an emotional tribute to her son.
In the wake of the 14-year-old's death, she said she is 'lost' without him.
Stephanie wrote on social media: "Will never forget the day you were born my precious blue-eyed boy.
"So lost without you am missing you much son. Wish a could wake up from this bad dream."
The green and white banner features a picture of the smiling teen, reports the Daily Record.
A message on the banner from his shattered family reads: "Fly high my bhoy.
“You’ll never walk alone Justin McLaughlin."
Justin's friends and family gathered over the weekend to release balloons in memory of him.
Mourners dressed in green and white to honour the teenager's love of Celtic as they came together on a sports pitch in Baillieston.
Green, white and orange flares were set off while dozens of helium balloons were launched into the sky at 3.45pm on Saturday.
Justin died after being found seriously injured at High Street station on Saturday, October 16.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a ‘disturbance’ that left the teenager with fatal injuries.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has since appeared in court charged with murder.
He was also charged with assault to severe injury, threatening behaviour and being in possession of a bladed item in public.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody following his private appearance.
We previously reported how Justin was facing charges for a "serious or violent" offence before his death. He had appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court on October 7 in connection with the hospitalisation of a 17-year-old who was allegedly slashed near Coatbridge.
