Justin Hollins excited to play with Broncos OLBs Von Miller and Bradley Chubb

Denver Broncos fifth-round draft pick Justin Hollins played outside linebacker at Oregon but he is expected to spend some time at inside linebacker this summer.

As he switches back and forth between positions, Hollins will be spending a lot of time with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, two of the best edge defenders in the NFL.

“It feels great being under the wing of those great players,” Hollins said during a conference call with reporters on April 27. “You got Von Miller, he’s a potential [Pro Football] Hall-of-Famer—in most eyes, he is a Hall-of-Famer already. Being able to learn from those guys is going to elevate my game. It’s just impressive.”

Hollins, who totaled 6.5 sacks as a senior, is also excited to work with Broncos outside linebackers coach Brandon Staley.

“Coach Staley, he [and I] really clicked [during the pre-draft process],” Hollins said. “I loved the system that he was showing me and the plays. We sat down and we talked. We really hit it off.

“I feel that underneath him, he is going to develop me. He’s going to show me exactly what it takes to be one of the best. He has coached the best and I feel like he is one of the best position coaches out there.”

Hollins will likely compete with Jeff Holland and A.J. Johnson for the team’s backup linebacker positions this summer.
