Justin Fields to the 49ers? The changing odds on the No. 3 pick might be a signal

This could mean everything. Or it could mean nothing.

But it’s felt like all the NFL draft rumors have focused on the San Francisco 49ers picking Alabama QB Mac Jones after their trade up to the No. 3 pick, which they’ll select later this month.

Of course, it’s smokescreen SZN, which means someone(s) might be trying to convince other NFL teams that Jones is the pick when they’re actually going to take another player, like Ohio State QB Justin Fields.

Which brings us to this curious fact: per Niners Wire, BetMGM has adjusted its odds for who will be the No. 3 pick … and Fields is now the favorite.
