In the fourth quarter of the Jets' loss to the Bills on Sunday, quarterback Justin Fields was taken to the medical tent to be checked for a possible concussion. The Jets announced after the 30-10 defeat that Fields has a concussion, putting his availability for next week vs. the Buccaneers in question.
Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor entered the game for Fields. He completed 7-of-11 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown.
Fields was sacked by Joey Bosa on a third-and-10 play in the fourth quarter. He appeared to hit his head hard on the ground. New York was down 30-3 when Fields went to the tent. He then went to the Jets' locker room for further evaluation.
