Justin Bieber teases new music amid claims that his next album is 'pretty much done'

Justin Bieber sent his fans into meltdown as he teased new music last night, with reports claiming his next album is ready to go.

The singer, 25, took to Instagram to share a string of photos that simply read "2020", suggesting his next set of tunes could be a matter of weeks away.

It comes as E! News reported that the new album is "pretty much done" and is just getting the finishing touches.

A source told the website: "They are putting on the finishing touches and aiming for early 2020. Justin is very excited to share new music and to get out on the road again. It's been a long time coming and he's feeling very ready."

The album is said to feature songs about his "recent struggles with depression" and his relationship with new wife Hailey Baldwin.

The insider added: "There were a lot of dark times and the breakdown he went through. He touches on his mental health struggles and how he got through it.

"He also writes a lot of about their love and the power of their love being different than anything else he's experienced."

The as yet untitled album will be the follow up to 2015's Purpose, which went platinum in both the UK and in the US.

Fans flooded his Instagram with excited comments about his new music.

One posted: "I feel like Justin's comeback is gonna be so huge that it will make even haters stan him."
