Justin Bieber silent as Hailey celebrates her billion-dollar deal solo: ‘This is only the beginning’

Hailey Bieber is celebrating a huge achievement: the $1 billion sale of her skincare brand, Rhode, to e.l.f. Beauty. However, the deal has also brought attention to the sharp difference between her rising career success and her husband Justin Bieber’s recent personal and professional struggles.

The sale is not just a straightforward cash payment. Instead, it is a complex agreement with a $600 million upfront cash payment to Rhode’s equity holders, $200 million in e.l.f. stock, and an additional $200 million performance-based payout spread over three years. While Hailey’s exact ownership percentage in Rhode has not been shared publicly, estimates suggest she owns between 50 and 70 percent.

As reported by Elle, this deal significantly increases her net worth to an estimated $300 million, which is now higher than her husband’s estimated net worth of $200 million. This comes after Justin Bieber’s financial problems were revealed.

Hailey Bieber may be richer than Justin now

The sale does not mean Hailey is leaving Rhode. She will stay on as chief creative officer and head of innovation, keeping her involved in shaping the brand’s future. This fits well with e.l.f. Beauty’s strategy. The company’s chairman and CEO, Tarang Amin, shared his excitement about the deal, pointing out how well Rhode’s growth aligns with e.l.f.’s focus on innovation and shaking up the beauty industry. He explained that the billion-dollar deal, the biggest in the company’s history, shows their confidence in growing their brand collection and continuing to change the beauty industry.

Hailey herself shared her excitement about Rhode’s future in an Instagram post. She talked about her big dreams for the brand since it launched in 2022 and how happy she is to partner with e.l.f. Beauty, a company she sees as a fellow innovator. Her post made it clear she is committed to expanding Rhode’s global presence and is ready to take on an even bigger role within the company, including serving as a strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty. Her celebratory message stands in strong contrast to the lack of public reaction from her husband.

Justin Bieber’s social media activity following this major milestone has been unusually quiet. He reposted Hailey’s announcement but did not add any personal message or congratulations, which is different from how he has publicly supported her achievements in the past.

His silence is especially noticeable because of his previous public statements about Hailey, including a now-deleted Instagram post where he admitted to once telling her during an argument that she would “never be on the cover of Vogue.” He later took back that statement, showing how his perspective had changed. However, his lack of public celebration for this billion-dollar deal leaves a clear gap in the story.

The difference between Hailey’s professional success and Justin’s recent challenges is hard to ignore. Justin’s career has faced major setbacks, including the cancellation of his world tour due to health issues, followed by reports of financial struggles.
