Justin Bieber has posted a message of support for Chris Brown following the latter’s release on bail this week.
The 36-year-old singer was granted bail after being charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, stemming from his arrest last week in Manchester.
Brown was taken into custody in the early hours of May 15 at a luxury hotel in the city on suspicion of causing GBH to music producer Abraham Diaw at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, in February 2023.
It was confirmed on Wednesday at Southwark Crown Court that Brown, 36, had been granted bail, after his previous request for release was denied.
Then on Thursday, Brown shared a photo of himself stepping off a private jet, captioning the post: “Cook, remain humble.”
Bieber responded simply with, “Welcome home,” a comment that garnered thousands of likes from fans.

As part of the terms of his bail, Brown must pay a £5 million security fee, which serves as a financial guarantee that he will return to court.
This fee may be forfeited if he breaches his bail conditions.
Judge Tony Baumgartner, who ruled on the bail application hearing, confirmed that Brown would be allowed to continue with his upcoming tour, Breezy Bowl XX, which includes dates in the UK this June and July, including two nights - June 21 and 22 - at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
If Brown is not traveling, he is required to surrender his passport and live at a specific address known to the court.
He has also been banned from visiting Tape nightclub, prohibited from contacting his accuser, and barred from applying for international travel documents.
Bieber has previously expressed admiration for Brown, comparing him to iconic musicians Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson.

In a 2019 post, Bieber wrote: “Everyone wants to wait until people die to give them the credit they deserve.
“I'm calling it now, when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time... trust me, watch, you will see.”
Brown is accused of an attack on music producer Abraham Diaw at the Tape nightclub in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19, 2023, when he and his entourage were at the venue for a Dirty Martini club night at the time.
It is said Mr Diaw was struck several times with a bottle before being pursued across the club and punched and kicked several times.
Brown’s case was first heard in Manchester Magistrates' Court on May 17, where the decision to remand him in custody.
But on Wednesday, Judge Tony Baumgartner agreed that the singer could have bail as long as he complies with a series of conditions.
