Justin Bieber has revealed that there is one part of his body that he does not plan to have tattooed, despite his arms, neck and torso being covered with the permanent designs.

The singer, who recently released his new album Justice, discussed his tattoos during an appearance onSirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up, where he revealed that he made a promise to himself that he wouldn’t get tattoos on his hands.

“I promised myself I didn’t want to get tattoos on my hands,” he said, according to Entertainment Tonight. “So I don’t think I’m going to get tattoos on my hands.”

According to Bieber, his decision has to do with appearances, with the singer continuing: “Something about just being able to wear a suit and not having tattoos on my hands, I don’t know.

“But that’s really one of my only places left, or my feet or my legs.”

However, the 27-year-old is open to more tattoos, as Bieber told the radio hosts that he has been contemplating getting a “small peach” tattoo to symbolise his new song Peaches.

“Maybe I’ll get like a small peach on my body somewhere,” he said.

The tattoo wouldn’t be the only design to hold a special meaning for Bieber, who revealed during an interview with Vogue on Monday that he has tattoos that signify both his career as a musician and important reminders.

According to Bieber, one of his most meaningful tattoos is a bear that he got tattooed on his chest in New Zealand, which “represents rest”.

“As tough and resilient as a bear is, it always hibernates, which is so important,” he explained. “We as humans go, go, and go without resting and it can leave us exhausted and drained.”

The singer also has additional animal tattoos with important meanings, with Bieber telling the outlet that the lion he has tattooed on the top-left of his chest “represents having a heart of a lion” and to be “bold, courageous, strong,” while “the bird on my neck that I got from [tattoo artist] Dr Woo” is “a reminder to use the gifts God has given me and give it all I have – to fly above all of the bullsh*t”.
