Justin Bieber has designed his own range of hotel slippers

Justin Bieber wants more men to wear hotel slippers as a style statement... and it's working.

Throughout 2018 the chart-topping 24-year-old made a habit of ditching sneakers in favour of free hotel slippers.

In fact, since he first debuted the footwear in June, Bieber has worn them numerous times: to grab a coffee, to go the hairdressers, for dinner at fancy restaurant Nobu, and, even, on the beach.

You name it, Bieber's done it wearing slippers.

Now, since he has proved that there's nowhere you can’t wear the flimsy footwear, he has designed a pair of his own.

The Sorry singer launched his clothing line 'The House Of Drew' (Drew is his middle name) back in November and the label has now launched its first product: a pair of "Cheap Hotel Slippers". Though not free, they will only set you back $4.99 (£3.94).

The foam sole shoes come complete with an embroidered yellow smiley face, which is the label's logo. The product description on the site reads: "Perfect for drew house guests and anyone who enjoys slipping their feet into something cozy at the end of the day."

If you want to champion the everyday slipper style, just like the Biebs, you may have to wait a little longer. The slippers (rather surprisingly to many) have sold out in just 24 hours.

Bieber posted an image of his slipper design onto Instagram (bizarrely wearing them with three pairs of socks) and, although he is yet to model the footwear out and about, we're sure it will only be a matter of time.

Will his slipper trend catch on? Only time will tell.
