Fans of Justin Bieber are convinced that the pop singer’s latest tattoo is a secret tribute to his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
Last month, the 26-year-old Canadian pop prince unveiled a dramatic rose tattoo – designed and inked on his neck by celebrity tattoo artist, Dr Woo.
The rose design features a long stem complete with thorns and leaves that runs down the pop singer’s next, while the bud of the flower bosoms just beneath his jawline.
Now some devout Jelena fans – aka Justin and Selena romance shippers – have become convinced there is a hidden message within the design to 28-year-old Look At Her Now singer Selena.
Commenting on Instagram, one fan account @SellygandJb typed: "The rose has a freaking S in it. An S for Selena!!! I can't stop screaming!!"
Another concurred, commenting: “OMG there is an S in his tattoo and I'm about to scream!"
While other fans revelled in the conspiracy theory, with one typing: "This love has no end!" and another questioning: " Justin Bieber new tattoo for Selena Gomez?"
Dedicated fans have speculated roses were symbol of love between Justin and Selena while they dated.
According to The Sun, Justin reconnected to Selena during lockdown.
It was claimed an insider revealed: "Selena has kept her distance from Justin but he recently started contacting her again.
"He doesn't believe he should be cut off from those people he was closest to in his life and doesn't believe talking is cheating.”
Meanwhile, Justin and 23-year-old wife Hailey Baldwin – who the singer has been married to since 2018 – enjoyed a “date night” on Saturday.
The Holy singer shared a trio of photos of himself and Hailey looking loved up as they posed on a street, beside a transit van, and in the back of a car.
