Justin Bieber ditches his tash after insisting he wouldn't - but it will return

Pop star Justin Bieber has shaved off his moustache after his recent phase with facial hair.

The Changes singer, 25, has been seen recently sporting a moustache as part of a more rugged look.

Now taking to social media, Justin has revealed a shaved look with the moustache being exorcised, albeit temporarily.

Posting the image on Instagram, Justin captioned the pic: "I shaved. MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time."

The image itself included the text "Baby face BIEB"

He had previously posted a pic where he denied he would shave off his moustache via a written sign.

Justin's beloved wife Hailey Bieber took to the comments section to show her pleasure at the post.

She wrote with a heart-eyed emoji: "yeeeeee"

He also posted videos of him shaving off the moustache to social media.

As he shaved it off he played Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone before finally playing Hit The Road Jack by Ray Charles over shots of his cleanly-shaven face.

He has recently spoken Apple Music's Zane Lowe about the impact of his emotional break-up with Selena Gomez.

He said: "I'd let her [Hailey] know prior to the tour when we were hanging a lot."

"I said, 'Listen, I'm still really hurt and still trying to figure out my way, and I'm not ready to make a commitment to you in a way that... I just don't want to say something and do the opposite'."

He went on to say: "I was at the point where I'd done that in the past. And I just was honest with her, I was like, 'I'm not in a place to be faithful,' and all this sort of stuff, that I wanted to be - but I just wasn't there yet."

Well, baby-faced Justin is looking happier now!
