Justin Bieber has broken his silence over his relationship with disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, with a representative for the star stating that he was “not among” the victims.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” Bieber’s representative said in a statement per PEOPLE.
“Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

A source revealed to PEOPLE in September 2024 that Bieber was “aware” of Diddy’s arrest, but was not wanting to “focus” on it.
“He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations, [but] it’s not anything that he wants to focus on, though,” the insider revealed.
A YouTube video of Bieber and Combs from 2009 was resurfaced last year, following Combs’ arrest and house raid, which saw the then-40-year-old telling the then-15-year-old that they were going to “get some girls” together. Combs also stated that he had “custody” over Bieber for “48 hours”.
“Where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose,” Combs said in the video.
“But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.
“For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.”

Combs is currently on trial in New York for alleged crimes involving sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, which he has pleaded not guilty to. The trial began on Monday (local time), May 12.
Combs’ ex-partner Cassie Ventura testified against him on Tuesday, where she spoke about the rap mogul’s infamous “freak-off” parties and his “abusive” and “controlling” actions directed towards her.
A video from 2016 released by CNN last year showed Combs kicking, hitting, and dragging Ventura in a hotel lobby.
Combs will return to court on Monday at 9am (local time).
