Justin Bieber has apologised to fans for his 'insensitive' April Fools' Day prank in which he claimed that wife Hailey Baldwin was pregnant.
While the pop star thought it was hilarious, as her posted a trilogy of pics on his Instagram , in which he showed a baby scan sonograph along with Hailey seemingly being examined by doctors.
The 25-year-old singer faced a backlash among his 107 million followers, after he admitted that it was all a hoax, with social media users claiming women who struggle to conceive could find the joke hurtful.
Justin has now issued a lengthy apology as he admitted that he may have stepped over the line with his 'joke'.

He started with a barbed comment about how people are easily offended nowadays before saying that he would "take responsibility and say sorry."
Posting a pic of an online headline about his joke being 'slammed', Bieber captioned it: "There’s always gonna be people offended, there’s also people who don’t take jokes very well, I am a prankster and it was APRIL FOOLS.
"I didn’t at all mean to be insensitive to people who can’t have children. A lot of people I know, their first go to prank on April fools is telling their parents they are pregnant to get a big reaction.

"But I will apologize anyway and take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended. I truly don’t want anyone to be hurt by a prank.. it’s like when I shoved cake in my little sisters face for her birthday expecting her to laugh but she cried.
"You sometimes just don’t know what will hurt someone’s feelings not to compare pregnancy with cake in the face but it’s just to paint the picture of not knowing what will offend.

Instagram fan page Justinsoutfits had posted a series of rare photos of Justin, in which one was of Selena sitting on his lap, with arms around him while she goes in for a kiss.
Justin recently had to be comforted by wife Hailey after he broke down in tears over Selena and he showed there was still some feelings for his ex by liking the pic.
This encouraged fans to think that Biebs is still crushing over Selena but some hours later, he unliked the post after possibly feeling the heat from Hailey.
