Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran appear to be teasing new music together – almost four years after the release of their previous collaboration, “Love Yourself”.

Both singers and their managers shared mysterious social media posts on Tuesday. The messages consist in photos of Bieber and Sheeran each posing in front of a green screen and wearing colourful, short-sleeved button-down shirts.

Bieber and Sheeran published the images along with the laconic caption “10”, leaving the images’ exact meaning up to interpretation.

Sheeran’s manager, Stuart Camp, and Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, have each shared a version of the photos on their own accounts. Hailey Bieber also participated, calling her husband an “incredible man”.

Bieber’s last album, Purpose, came out in 2015.

Sheeran’s most recent release, Divide, was unveiled in 2017.

Back in 2015, Bieber released the single “Love Yourself”, co-written by Sheeran. The song appears on the album Purpose.

In March this year, the 25-year-old Bieber announced he was taking a hiatus from music in order to focus on his personal life.

He promised to be back as soon as possible with a “kicka** album”.
