But for Hugo Lloris it has gone the other way round.
He was the villain of the piece against Liverpool less than two weeks ago when he spilled an easy catch from a Mo Salah header and the ball hit Toby Alderweireld and trickled over the line.
Now the French World Cup winner is the hero.

There were just ten minutes on the clock during the Champions League quarter-final first leg with Manchester City when VAR was called into action.
A Raheem Sterling shot was blocked by Danny Rose and it looked like the chance was gone, but the referee stopped to listen to instructions and after consulting his video, pointed to the spot for a handball.
Up stepped the fit again Sergio Aguero, but Lloris was equal to the task, diving to his left to palm the Argentinian's effort away to a huge roar from inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It was Lloris' third penalty save of the season, following stops against Leicester and Arsenal.
And after an up and down season, the Tottenham fans were absolutely delighted to see their skipper make a big save in a big game.
