'Just when I thought we were the laughing stock' - Nottingham Forest fans revel in Derby County woes

Nottingham Forest fans revelled in Derby County's troubles on Saturday, despite their own club's problems.

Less than 24 hours after the Reds' terrible start to the new Championship season continued with a 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town, the Rams were hammered 4-0 by Blackburn Rovers at Pride Park, putting Phillip Cocu under just as much pressure as Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi.

Former Derby man Bradley Johnson scored twice as Rovers ripped the Rams apart, with Tyrhys Dolan and Adam Armstrong also finding the net.

It means the bitter rivals are both languishing towards the bottom of the table on zero points from the opening three matches of the season, with Derby in 22nd place and Forest in 21st.

Here's what Forest fans were saying on Twitter:

Chris Blackburn: I thought we were bad but the sheep  will always outdo us on that

George NFFC: I know we’re bad losing our opening 3 games but Derby are next level

FPL Salmon: Regardless of how dreadful we are you can always rely on derby to be even worse!

OptimisticForest: See Forest fans, there’s always something to be happy about!!

Sir Bob: Things may be bleak, but at least derby are still worse than us.

Hannah Forest: I'm a bit surprised that Derby are so bad with Rooney in their team. I thought he was their saviour.

Tim: Just when I thought we were the laughing stock of the league

Todd Wheatland: Derby are tinpot and going down
