Just one week left to nominate for Bristol Loves and help us name the best things about Bristol

We are part way through an incredible summer in Bristol, and it is not all down to the weather.

From the annual events which transform the city - and more still to come - to eating out in some of the city's best restaurants, or just enjoying a pint of cider in a sunny beer garden we are making the most of everything Bristol has to offer.

But this year we decided our patronage was not enough, and we wanted to recognise everything which is great about Bristol/

Two weeks ago we launched Bristol Loves, a new award recognising Bristol's best pubs, experience, street food vendor, vegan food and many other cateogries.

We have tried to pick categories which represent Bristol's character and nominations have been rolling in. But with a week left to nominate, we want more.

You have until the end of the week to nominate, and there are plenty of categories.

The full list of categories is:

Best street food vendor
Best quirky venue
Best restaurant
Best bar
Best vegan food
Best LGBT+ venue or event
Best pub
Best live music venue
Best date night venue
Best Bristol experience
Best market stall, crafter or creator

Make your nominations here

We want to know which restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs you love, where you like to socialise and what you like to do.

With such a strong creative community in Bristol, we’re also looking to find out which market stalls or crafters are your favourites, and because street food is such a huge thing here too we’ve created a category just for them.

We’re also on the lookout for all those hidden gems that only the locals know about - which quirky venues do you think deserve a bit of recognition?

Bristol also has one of the fastest growing vegan communities and we want to shout about that too - have you got a favourite vegan place you think others need to know about?

Nominations close Sunday August 4. So get nominating!

As soon as the shortlist is announced we need you to get voting for your favourites.

The campaign will culminate in a huge celebration, filled with the best Bristol has to offer, from food and drink to music and entertainment. All of the finalists will be invited, as well as some very special guests.
